Nestled against bushland off the beaten track, Riseley Cottage has vistas towards The Narrows estuary, Hartz Mountain & the renowned South West Wilderness World Heritage Area, and provides the perfect stopover to the Far South, Huon Valley region of Tasmania. We recommend a 2 or 3 night stay to explore the many varied attractions of the area.
Far South holiday destinations include Hastings Caves & Thermal Pools, Cockle Creek & Recherche Bay, Hartz Mountain National Park, Ida Bay Railway and Tahune Airwalk.
Just 7km south of the picturesque setting of Dover ( 30kms south of Geeveston & 15km north of Southport ), the B&B circa 1915 cottage has been tastefully extended to match the original, further enhanced by an eclectic collection of period furniture & furnishings.
A traditional Hearty Breakfast awaits - seasonal fruit & berries, fresh apple juice, homemade bread, jams & yogurt, plus full "English" to finish. consist two Queen Size and one Standard/twin room, each with own private ensuite. Our Superior Garden ensuite room comes with wood heater & large bath.
